About AltarMala
The Name
Altar — a small table, a desk, a place where you sit with yourself. Mala — a string of beads, one breath per bead, one of the oldest tools for being present. 案珠記 — a bead on the desk, a note to yourself. "A bead on the desk, a note in the heart."
Why We Started
We wanted something quiet for the desk — not a decoration that shouts, but a small object you notice when you look up. A stone, a gourd, a stick of incense. Things that have been on Eastern desks for a long time, made simply, without pretense.
What We Do
We select natural stones and small Eastern crafts. Each piece is chosen by hand. We do not claim our products change your life. We simply hope they give you a quiet moment — a glance, a breath, a small pause in your day.
What We Don't Do
We don't sell promises or use superstitious language. We sell stones and crafts — natural, handmade, honestly described. What you see is what you get.
